Administrative Assistant to the Head of Development & Production and the Vice President of Programming

The Administrative Assistant to the Head of Development & Production and the Vice President of Programming will provide administrative support to two executives in the scripted television department, which includes phone coverage, script coverage, scheduling. This role will also support AwesomenessTV’s Development team at large for departmental meetings, events, projects, etc. This role will often be interacting with writers, directors, other executives, and representation on behalf of the department, so a strong level of professionalism is a must.

  • Manage the calendar, phones, travel, and internal/external relations for both executives
  • Provide supplemental support in scheduling departmental meetings or obligations internally and externally
  • Coordinate with many different internal teams in regards to development and production
  • Compile notes to send out to team after each week’s development meeting
  • Read and cover scripts
  • Compile lists, calendars, and decks related to production and development
  • Collaborate with Scripted Coordinators on projects and assignments for Scripted Team interns

  • Background working as an assistant at an agency or management company is strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of desk experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Desire to be a team player and work with many different departments of a growing media company
  • Interest in development and production of scripted content
