The Role

Awesomeness’s DreamWorksTV Network is looking for an Associate Producer. The ideal candidate will have graduated from film or journalism school with a strong interest in writing and making content for kids with at least one year experience in content creation.  A creative mindset is key in this role, and an interest in researching and finding talent for creative content.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Managing assigned projects - content ideation, script writing, research, identifying talent, production involvement
  • Identifying trends within pop culture that can be utilized to create amazing content
  • Delivering projects on time, monitoring deadlines and seeing deliverables through to completion
  • Other tasks as assigned
 
Requirements
  • Strong writing skills a must
  • Comedic sensibility, a must
  • 1+ years in the job market in entertainment and/or in a related field (publishing, editorial, agency, etc.)
  • Interest in creating content for kids 6-12 years old
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Some knowledge of the target audience is a plus
  • Excellent organization, time management, problem solving
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is required
