Primary Learning Objectives:
The Intern will gain knowledge of AwesomenessTV and the entertainment industry by attending weekly information sessions throughout the semester.
 
The Intern will gain exposure to the Marketing department, specifically within the main brand and series marketing realm.
 
The Intern will get access to the process behind strategic planning and implementation of a digital marketing plan and observe high level communication within the Marketing department.
 
The Intern will learn how different design strategies support our sales campaigns, digital web series, corporate branding, and films.
 
The overall objective is to ensure that the Intern learns all angles of digital marketing.

AwesomenessTV is seeking a Marketing Intern in West Los Angeles, CA.  The Intern will gain exposure to the Marketing department, through working with the social media, channel management, and graphic design teams.  They will get access to the strategic planning and implementation of digital marketing plans and observe high-level communication within the Marketing department.  They will be exposed to integrated sales campaigns, digital series show launches, film promotional campaigns and sponsored events. The Intern will research relevant social trends that appeal to our target demographic. They will assist with research for presentations, pitches and marketing campaigns. The Intern will aid the Channel Managers with uploading videos to the YouTube channel, creating copy for titles, descriptions, and tags and creatively utilizing SEO.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university and able to receive credit for the internship. Students at the Junior or Senior level strongly preferred. Candidates should be majors in Marketing, PR, Communications, New Media, or related areas.  Must be confident and proactive and possess exceptional communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels.  Must have solid organizational skills.  Strong computer skills are essential, including experience with Word, Excel, and Gmail.  Basic Photoshop, YouTube, and HTML knowledge preferred. Please note we are not able to sponsor international students in this department. Must have reliable computer capable of accomplishing required job functions.
